WHAT AMAZING ATHLETES WE HAVE!!!

We got excellent results in the ADS and Comunidad de Madrid Crosses

 

Last January, Wednesday 29th, the Interschools ADS Cross Race was held in Villalba, where our IES Colmenarejo succeeded in getting excellent results.

 

                                       10 of our students took part in this Final Round after had

                                       been previously classified in the First Round (held last

                                       Novemeber in San Lorenzo de El Escorial).Juan G. de la 

                                       Torre Ortiz (13º) and Alejandro Álvarez Miruri (23º) were

                                       our representatives in the Male Under-14 category. Our

                                       girls Under-14 Erika Álvarez García (10ª), Sara Martínez 

                                       Abarca-Pérez (30ª), Maite de la Torre Ortiz (32ª), Eva

                                       Marcos Jiménez (35ª) and Paula Hontanilla Paniagua

                                       (injuried) did a great job classifying the whole team.

                                       It is worth to mention the race of our Under-16 athletes,

                                       Jorge Sanz Pérez (11º) and Mª del Mar Martínez Alcaide

                                       (2ª). Both of them classified for the Final Round.

 

This last race, where athletes from all over the Comunidad de Madrid ran, was held in Arganda del Rey last February, Sunday 09th. Mª del Mar and Jorge did an awesome race again, classifying 6ª and 18º!!!

 

You guys made us felt really proud of you!!!
